The Art of Narrative Management Training Programme organised by Quality life of South Africa, MacTay of Nigeria and Learning Organisation, has ended in Accra.

The main objective of the programme was to use story telling as an enabler for the transformation of organisations and to enhance performance and productivity, and at the same time equip participants with a powerful intervention and individual processing tool and clear understanding of how stories influenced work performance.

Prof. Esi Sutherland- Addy of Institute of African Studies, University of Ghana, who gave the key note address emphasised that storytelling was a major art form which had, until recently played essential intellectual, social and aesthetic roles in Ghanaian communities.

Many, who have experienced the hey days of storytelling, delight most in recollecting that the enchanting world of folktales would open up an evening after the day’s work was done, she said. The Art of Narrative Management Programme was facilitated by a renowned StoryTeller, Writer and Professor of English Literature, Professor Dorian Haarhoff, who has built a reputation of using storytelling as an enabler for the transformation of organisations and enhancing performance and productivity.
